White-water Rafting
The Tugela river offers perhaps the most spectacular white water rafting opportunities that exists in South Africa. One of the few destinations in the world that boasts clean rivers, lakes and dams, so it’s obvious that white water rafting, river rafting and canoeing are a very popular with both local and international visitors.
Skydiving
South Africa has skydiving clubs in all the major centres with the biggest being Pretoria Skydiving Club, which is your best bet if you want to get involved in some big RW. They fly two Pilatus Porters, so 20-way formations are a real possibility. And if you’ve never skydived, consider doing your first jump in South Africa. Oribi Gorge Bridge Swing
The Wild Gorge swing is an awesome experience that leaves you breathless but exhilarated. Situated at the top of Lehrs falls, it is the highest swing in the world. Jump off the waterfall to swing into the depths of the gorge in a 100m (33 Storeys) arc. Utterly mindblowing! A full body harness is used to allow for a comfortable ride. Fully qualified personnel are on hand to prepare you for this thrilling experience.
Bungee Jumping
South Africa has the highest commercial bungee jump in the world and it’s not for the faint of heart. Bloukrans Bridge Bungi Jump is situated in a region just east of the southern tip of Africa, which is richly endowed with fine weather and great natural beauty. The bridge is 216m high with the actual jump being about 160m. You jump from the arch support of the Bloukrans bridge. A unique pendulum bungi system ensures the longest and smoothest ride in the world.
Canopy Tours
Ever wanted to swing through the treetops like Tarzan and Jane? Well know you can!
